OSGEMEOS
OSGEMEOS—identical twin artists Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo—are internationally recognized for their distinctive visual language, which blends Brazilian culture, hip-hop, folklore, dreamlike narratives, and large-scale public art. The twins began painting graffiti in São Paulo in 1987, initially influenced by the early hip-hop culture and New York graffiti movement before developing a highly personal style rooted in their Brazilian heritage and shared imagination.
Their work is characterized by vibrant, illustrative compositions and recurring yellow-skinned figures inspired by the distinctive hue they often encounter in their dreams. Moving fluidly between intimate portraits, intricate murals, sculptural installations, and immersive environments, OSGEMEOS create expansive visual worlds that explore family, identity, community, social and political realities, and Brazilian cultural traditions.
What began on the streets of São Paulo has grown into a global artistic practice, with their work appearing in public spaces, galleries, museums, and cultural institutions around the world. Their signature dreamlike aesthetic—often described as an escapist fantasy—has established OSGEMEOS as two of the most influential artists to emerge from the global street art movement.
