Caratoes

Caratoes is an artist originally from Belgium and currently living in Hong Kong. Her artistic vision is to bring out the best in a space – whether indoors or outdoors – and to take the viewer on an unexpected visual journey. Her work is a blend of highly detailed elements combined with surprising abstract shapes, which makes her art instantly recognizable. She envisions her work warmly hugging the viewers brain and sending out positive vibes for them to continue their day.

Caratoes shares her work all over the globe. In 2015 alone, she painted 30 walls in 24 different places, ranging from tropical locales like Hawaii and Mexico, to much colder locales like Iceland and Montreal. She has had shows and commissions for clients such as the Four Seasons Hotel, Nike, DC shoes, UBS and Absolut Vodka, among others.
