Tracy Negrete, is a Female Hispanic Artist, with an extensive background in Mural painting
and Fine Art. Her passion is creating Public Art, and working and collaborating with communities in
Inspiring them through art, the key reason to why she creates.
Tracy a Long Beach Resident Artist, became enamored with the world of art, studying
Graphic Design, Fine Art, and Mural Painting. As a Apprentice working along Professional Artist’s
she has been able to hone in her craft, and eventually graduated to working on her own Art
and Mural Projects. Tracy has also exhibited and Curated Art Shows in Long Beach, Los Angeles,
and New York.
A believer in the Arts as a form of transformative healing and a cultural worker
for Social Issues. She enjoys practicing art, as a labor of love with others.
She has experience working with Communities and Public Schools. Art Literacy practices
with youth and community based projects. Her personal work explores individual narrative and
vital as well as the significance of collective healing.
Tracy has currently received recognition from City Council, Vice Mayor Rex Richardson 9th District,
for her contribution Art Project to the Creative Corridor Challenge Mural. “Together We Soar”
as well to Council Member Al Austin for her work on to the Bixby Knolls Mural, -Tribute to Don
Gibbs. Never Forgetting her past and those who have played a mayor role in her Art Career, Tracy
actively looks to work with youth and Community volunteers in creating art and to give them exposure.
Its her hope that bringing a sense of communal pride to her projects and will cement them as Community Landmarks.
